Mansfield Police Log: Comcast Center, Hair Salon Break Ins and Thefts

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from July 26 to July 29.

July 26

9:43 a.m. Chad Askew, 29, of 132 Fruit St. was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

10:29 a.m. The following is a summary of police action at the Comcast Center during the Identity Tour.  24 people were arrested for underage possession of alcohol and 16 people were taken into protective custody for public intoxication. More serious charges listed below.

The following is a list of arrests made for possession of a class B substance: Todd Gardner, 24, of 10 Evergreen Dr. in Granby, C.T., Charles Heneberry, 20, of 500 Winthrop St. in Winthrop, Kevin Crotty, 21, of 252 Middleton Rd. in Boxford, Robert Gutman, 18, of 18 Colonial St. in Westogue, C.T., William Moore, 18, of 18 Bobwhite Way in Simsbury, C.T., Bryan West, 18, of 9 Berkshire Way Simsbury, C.T., Robert Schulz, 21, of 55 Dean St., Luke Lohan, 21, of 405 Woodland Dr. in Hanover and Matt Prudhomme, 19, of 237 Cheshire Rd. in Windsor.

Five people were arrested for possession of a forged registry document.

Alex Marotte, 21, of Springfield was arrested and charged with possession of a class B substance (Ecstasy) with intent to distribute. 

Chad Lundy, 30, of 20 Robin Wood Rd. in Norwood was arrested for assault and battery.
1:22 pm. Anthony D’Amato, 18, of 1 Ray Charles Cir. in Foxborough was arrested for using a fake I.D. to purchase alcohol at Dub’s Liquors.

July 27

12:03 a.m. Caller reported that her vehicle was hit in the CVS parking lot by a silver car that left at a high rate of speed.

9:06 a.m. Covidien representative reported the theft of property from an employee.

9:12 a.m. Caller reported that her vehicle was broken into during the night on Central Street.

9:44 a.m. Ryan Kelley, 26, of 9 Perry St. in Norton and Jaslyn Corbett, 26, of 8 Harbor Rd. in Norton were both arrested for larceny worth over $250.

1:03 p.m. Caller reported that there was a larceny from his residence on Williams Street.

3:21 p.m. Stephen Goulding, 20, of 22 Brooks Rd. in Monument Beach was arrested for distributing obscene matter. Reporting party came into the station and stated that she had received a “lewd photo” on her phone from Goulding.

4:51 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that her son’s bicycle was stolen .

July 28

7:37 a.m. Caller reported from the strand Salon that someone had broken into the store. Nothing was reported stolen, but the salon was “trashed.”

7:58 a.m. Owner of Hair Designs Unlimited reported that his store had been burglarized.

11:28 a.m. Caller reported a break in on North Main Street.

11:48 a.m. Caller from the Church of Christ on Edgewood St. reported that his office had been broken into.

2:57 p.m. Caller reported that his car was spray painted during the night.
July 29

3:48 a.m. Patrick Powers, 23, of 427 Gilbert St. was arrested for operation of a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

6:45 p.m. Shawn Crotty, 34, of 185 Wattsesing St. in Bloomfield, New Jersey, was arrested for his fourth offense of operation of a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
