Mansfield Police Log: Dec. 1 - 5

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log.

Dec. 2

9:38 a.m. Caller reported that her garage was broken into earlier in th eweek and gasoline was siphoned out of her vehicle.

10:53 a.m. Caller reported that someone drove over his lawn the previous night and knocked down a stop sign in the area of Chilson Avenue.. The vehicle left a license plate behind after the collision, and was logged in the police database.

10:53 a.m. Caller reported that someone had stolen a computer from a company office on Cabot Boulevard during the past few days.

2:52 p.m. Charles Ingolia, 24, of 14 Concetta Dr. was arrested for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle collision.

3:30 Caller reported that his motor vehicle had been broken into sometime during the night while it was parked on South Main Street.

5:45 p.m. Michelle Lach, 19, of 130 Wintergreen Lane in Taunton was arrested for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle collision.  She was brought in after a caller reported she saw a small red motor vehicle strike a van and leave the area of Chauncy Street.  Police analyzed the damage to the van and concluded that there was no way that Lach could have not felt the impact of the two vehicles and mistakenly drive off.

6:56 p.m. reporting party came into the station and stated that someone had stolen property from his residence.

7:22 p.m .Gary Gage,41, of 50 Crooker St. was arrested for destruction of property worth over $250 while at Dub’s Liquors. An employee reported to police initially that Gage was highly intoxicated and smashed the glass of the store’s front window and injured his hand.

 

Dec. 3

10:01 a.m. Caller reported that his mailbox was vandalized sometime during the night on Wayside Drive.

 

 

Dec. 5

12:46 p.m. Caller reported that the hood his motor vehicle was damaged while parked at Home Depot.

4:00 p.m. Caller reported that several items of jewelry were stolen from her house on Carriage House  Lane.
