Mansfield Police Log: Dec. 15-19

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log.

Dec. 16

4:40 p.m. Caller reported that someone had hit her vehicle and then spit and shouted at her.

Dec. 17

11:59 a.m. Anthony Lotto, 21, of 376 North Main Street was arrested for shoplifting, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. A caller from the Stop and Shop pharmacy reported that Lotto had stolen several over the counter medications and then ran out of the building. Police found Lotto by the Red Roof Inn.

5:26 p.m. Caller reported that a customer of Stop and Shop had her wallet stolen from her purse. The purse was later recovered in the parking lot, but $400 was missing.

7:58 p.m. Caller reported that his son’s North Face jacket was stolen while at the Mansfield Sports Plex.

 

Dec. 18

2:31 a.m. Caller reported a missing prescription medication, possibly stolen.

1:27 p.m. Caller reported that someone had broken into his vehicle during the night on Cedar Ridge Lane.

6:27 p.m. Jason Fernald, 38, of 13 Bonney Ln. was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. A caller who said that he was all over the road and crossing the double yellow line reported Fernald.

6:35 p.m. Idrisa Stambuli, 29, of 69 East Main St. in Norton was arrested for negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and possession of a class B substance (crack cocaine) after Stambuli crashed her vehicle into a tree on Franklin Street. Deadre Flaherty,  30, of 12 Bonney Ln., who was a passenger in the vehicle, was arrested for possession of a class B substance (crack cocaine).

 

Dec. 19

10:05 a.m. Officer was flagged down by a party who reported that someone had stolen his plow.

10:45 p.m. Caller reported a hit and run involving a Fed Ex truck.
