Mansfield Police Log: Dec. 23-26

Dec. 23

1:30 p.m. Anthony Lotto, 21, of 376 North Main St. was arrested for shoplifting at the Kohl’s.

4:56 p.m. Caller reported that his Ninja Motorcycle had been stolen from his shed on County Street.

John Osgood, 50, of 969 Circuit St. in Hanover was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle. Police pulled him over on East Street.

Dec. 25

3:44 p.m. Two motor vehicles were hit sometime during the night on Chilson Avenue.

5:39 p.m. Caller reported hitting and deer and then it ran into the woods.

Dec. 26

4:07 p.m. Caller reported that two iPods were stolen from her vehicle on Plantation Road during the night.

10:02 p.m. Caller reported that the ref at her son’s game at the Mansfield Sportsplex stole her son’s shoes from the building.

10:19 p.m. Caller reported that his motor vehicle had food items placed on it. Police talked to the youth and found out the action was a joke among friends. Police advised that it was time to end the joke.
