Mansfield Police Log: Drug and Gun Arrest, A&B on a Police Officer and Inappropriate Chatroom

The following is from the Mansfield Police logs from Nov. 26 to the morning of Nov. 29, 2012.

Nov. 26

11:46 a.m. Charles Mueller, 31, of 455 Mill St. was issued a summons arrest for carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a firearm after a violent crime arrest, possession of a class A substance, receiving stolen property and improper storage of a firearm.

3:51 p.m. Caller reported someone had cashed a blank check he endorsed.

Nov. 27

8:30 a.m. Caller reported that her 11-year-old daughter was involved in an inappropriate online chat during the night. The screen name and chat itself were taken down and reported to Mansfield Police.

12:17 p.m. Caller reported a hit and run on Chauncy Street.

5:47 p.m. Martha Aries, 54, of 6 Larson Rd. in Norton was arrested for shoplifting by asportation.

7:35 p.m. Tyler Bassett, 19, of 53 South St. in Easton was arrested for possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute.

Nov. 28

6:21 p.m. Caller reported a customer had her pocketbook stolen from a shopping cart at Michael’s.

7:17 p.m. One 16 year-old juvenile was issued a summons arrest for three counts of assault and battery on a police officer after refusing to go to the hospital with his parents for medication. Mansfield Police eventually transported him to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. 

Nov. 29

6:06 a.m. Caller reported his vehicle was broken into during the night. A variety of power tools were taken from the vehicle.
