Mansfield Police Log: Flying Pumpkins, Christmas Tarzan and Robberies

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, 2012.

Oct. 30

8:35 a.m. Caller reported that his vehicle in the driveway of his residence on Balcom Street was hit intentionally by a rock.

12:17 p.m. Caller reported his bicycle stolen from his residence on Cottage Street.

1:13 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that he was a victim of bank card fraud.

2:55 p.m. Sean Boswell Jr., 20, of 101 Chilson Ave., Israel Rivera, 19, of 14 Pineneelde Ln., Cormier Hayden, 20, of 479 North Main St. and Mark Medeiros, 19, of 18 Fuller Pl. were all arrested for attempting to commit armed robbery, trespassing on residential property and conspiracy to violate drug laws. A caller from Verrochi Inc. on County Street reported that the youths were talking about robbing someone. The caller then reported hearing a gun cocking and then seeing the barrel of a handgun, which was recovered near the train tracks and found to be a BB gun.

Oct. 31

2:51 a.m.Kelly Macleod, 43  of 449 North Main Street was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

10:32 a.m. Caller reported a break in attempt in both sections of the duplex on Draper Avenue.

11:27 a.m. Caller reported a break in attempt at Mansfield Oil on East Street.

1:07 p.m. Caller reported youths swinging from Christmas lights on the South Common.

5:51 p.m. Caller reported the door of her residence was kicked in.

Nov. 1

11:16 a.m. Charles Suess, 50, of Foxborough was arrested for receiving stolen property.

2:52 p.m. Caller reported her residence on East Street was broken into during the day. Jewelry was reported missing after the incident.

5:02 p.m. Caller reported that someone had through a pumpkin at her vehicle’s window and the window was damaged in the incident.

11:50 p.m. Benjamin Hughes, 27, of 31 Francis Ave. was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
