Mansfield Police Log: Fraud, Hit and Run and More Breakins

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from dates March 12-15

March 12

2:54 a.m. A call was received from the Massachusetts State Police regarding a break in. A caller had called the state police reporting two shadows on the shade of the basement window on Franklin Street. Caller said he did not see any actual people, but he did see a red laser pointer in his bathroom.

9:04 a.m. Jennelle Golden, 20, of 20 Bussey St. in Dedham was arrested for domestic assault and battery. The charges were filed regarding an incident at St. Mary’s Church the previous day.

3:49 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that her vehicle was broken into during the day while it was parked at the high school. Victim said that two wallets and an iPod were taken.

6:35 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that his vehicle was broken into. A GPS and an iPod were reported missing.

March 13

10:51 a.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that two vehicles in her driveway on Beech Street were broken into during Saturday night. Nothing was reported missing.

5:56 p.m. Caller reported that her car was struck by a green Ford Taurus and the offending vehicle left the area near Cheng Du.

11:16 p.m. Michael Farrell, 18, of 23 Morrow St. was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

 

March 14

5:21 p.m. Glenn Reid, 49, of 22114 Rd. in Hollis, New York, was arrested for attempting to commit larceny over $250, three counts of forging false documents, false statement to obtain a credit card, identity fraud and three counts of uttering false order for money.

6:11 p.m. Police were notified by a passerby that someone was illegally dumping in the dumpster behind the property on 241 Francis Ave. Patrolman Souza reported finding shotgun shells and .22 caliber ammunition.

6:51 p.m. Derek Beatty, 31, of 56 Willow St. in Foxborough was arrested for leaving the scene of property damage (hit and run), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license and a marked lanes violation.

March 15

11:20 a.m. David Richard, 46, of 234 Reingold Ave in Fitchburg was arrested for disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.
