Mansfield Police Log: Juvenile Arrest, Theft and Break Ins

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department log from dates March 16 to March 18.

March 16

8:49 a.m. A juvenile, age 16, was arrested on Hope Street for two counts of vehicular breaking and entering, two counts of larceny over $250, one count of disturbing the peace, one count of resisting arrest, one count of disorderly conduct and one count of trespassing. Caller reported the juvenile looking into every car in the memorial park parking lot. Detective Ellsworth reported witnessing the suspect on Hope Street running through backyards to Hillside. Officer Armstrong reported one party in custody.

March 17

1:54 a.m. Caller reported that a chair had been moved next to one of the windows of her residence and the window itself had been tampered with. She did not know exactly when the chair was put there, but it looked to be a break in attempt.

9:49 a.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that his ex wife had removed property from his residence.

12:33 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that two vehicles parked in his driveway on Shawmut Avenue were broken into on Saturday of last week.

March 18

5:36 p.m. Officer reported being approached by a citizen at the Four Corners Citgo. The citizen reported that someone had taken his iPhone while he was in the bathroom.
