Mansfield Police Log: Large Instance of Larcenies/Break Ins

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from Oct. 20 to 21, 2012.

Oct. 21

8:55 a.m. Caller reported that his motor vehicle had been broken into during the night. Medical supplies, including a stethoscope and an old prescription pad were taken.

11:45 a.m. Caller reported pills and a wallet stolen from his vehicle on Columbus Avenue.

1:35 p.m. Caller reported a hit and run at the Stop and Shop parking lot.

8:07 p.m. Caller reported a vehicular break in on Church Street.

Oct. 22

8:52 a.m. Caller reported a hit and run at the Home Depot parking lot. The offending driver refused to give information and reportedly sped off.

8:56 a.m. Caller reported that a rental truck had not been returned to the Home Depot and the vehicle was entered into the police database as stolen.

10:28 a.m. Caller from Bank of America reported a robbery in progress. Eight officers arrived on scene to find that black male had passed a note to the cashier demanding money, “give me the money,” and fled the scene. A representative from the Federal Bureau of Investigation was included in the proceedings.

10:51 a.m. Caller reported a vehicular break in on Atwood Street.

12:43 p.m. Caller reported a vehicular break in on Atwood Street at a different address.

4:37 p.m. Caller reported taht his residence on Bellview Dr. was broken into during the day. A safe from the residence was taken and smashed open in the garage.5:45 p.m. Caller reported six pieces of jewelry stolen from his residence on Concetta Dr.

6:22 p.m. Caller from Best Buy reported a larceny of items from the store.

6:34 p.m. Caller reported her pocketbook was stolen at the Stop and Shop.

9:39 p.m. Caller reported hockey equipment stolen from his vehicle.
