Mansfield Police Log: Multiple Sideswipes, Power Tool Theft and Opiate Arrests

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from Nov. 13 through Nov. 15

Nov. 13

9:35 a.m. Caller reported that her vehicle was broken into over the weekend.

4:06  p.m. Caller reported that his vehicle was broken into during the night on Concetta Circle.

Nov. 14

11:13 p.m. Caller reported that his garage has been broken into on Maple Street. A Honda generator and an MIG welder were taken.

1:17 p.m. George Carney, 25, of 104 Angell St. and Charles Mueller, 31, of 455 Mill St. were both arrested for possession of class A and B substances. Carney was also arrested for attaching license plates illegally.

9:27 p.m. Police responded to a domestic disturbance on Franklin Street involving a pistol.

Nov. 15

5:00 p.m. Caller reported a hit and run at the Stop and Shop Parking Lot.

7:26 p.m. Gary Tessier, 63,  of 50 Maple Street was arrested for operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of property damage and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.  This was his second OUI offense. Caller reported a red truck side-swiped several vehicles in the area of Geno’s in North Main Street and was headed to the chocolate factory. Police apprehended Tessier minutes later.
