Mansfield Police Log: Oct. 17-23

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department's log.

 

Oct. 17

6:08 p.m. Caller reported a break in at his residence on Plantingfield Road. Police found no visible signs of forced entry at the house.

7:53 p.m. Caller reported being a victim in a football ticket scam.

Oct. 18

10:20 a.m. Mansfield Taxi driver reported a customer did not pay for his ride.

4:46 p.m. Caller reported that someone had struck his vehicle the previous night while it was parked on South Main Street.

5:42 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that someone had stolen her front license plate during the night.

9:33 p.m. Caller reported hearing her door slam and her dogs barking and thought someone was trying to break into the residence. Police did a walkthrough of the house with the resident.

Oct. 19

11:48 a.m. Ernest Quiles, 26, of 52 Myrtle St. in Pawtucket Rhode Island was arrested for credit card fraud over $250.

3:52 p.m. Caller reported that her son’s bicycle had been stolen from the front of the middle school.

7:19 p.m. Caller reported that her vehicle was damaged in a hit and run while parked at the Cumberland Farms.

Oct. 20

6:26 p.m.  Caller reported that she heard clicking in the area of her front door and believed someone was trying to break into her residence on Ware Street. Police secured the area.

Oct. 21

11:52 p.m. Limo driver reported an altrication between three female passengers in the back seat of the vehicle. Police found the limo pulled over on Bonney Lane and took one of the women into protective custody.

Oct. 22

2:48 p.m. Fred Baskin III,  22, of 870 Truman Highway in Hyde Park and Fred Baskin IV, 19, of 466 Williams St. were both arrested for misdemeanor breaking and entering charge at a residence on Franklin Street. The caller reported that she was taking a nap and woke up with the pair in the residence.

Oct. 23

1:50 a.m. Adam Connoly, 25, of 45 South Washington St. in Norton was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

7:33 p.m. A Millfarm Road resident was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol while driving on Ware Street.

8:18 p.m. Caller reported a past hit and run on her rental vehicle.

8:44 p.m. Michael Marchetti, 59, of 283 Ware St. was arrested for domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The caller reported that his mother’s boyfriend, Marchetti, had assaulted him.
