Mansfield Police Log: Oct. 31- Nov. 6

The following is from the Mansfield Police.

Oct. 31

3:26 p.m. Mansfield Police responded to a call reporting a multiple vehicle collision on Route 140 South.

5:12 p.m. Mansfield Police responded to a call reporting a three-motor vehicle collision on Maple Street. No injuries reported.

Nov. 1

6:14 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that his truck was vandalized while parked on Rumford Avenue.

6:37 p.m. Caller reported that her pocketbook was stolen the previous night.

8:25 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that her medication had been stolen while she was at work.

10:02 p.m. Caller reported that his laptop had been stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway on Stearns Avenue.

 

Nov. 2

1:43 p.m. Caller reported a pedestrian had been struck on School Street. The vehicle did not stop,  and the pedestrian was not injured. The driver returned to the scene and the victim did not press charges.

 

Nov. 3

12:48 a.m. Anthony Fitzpatrick, 20, of 4 Walford Park in Canton was arrested for having three warrants out for his arrest. Police  were alerted to Fitzpatrick when a caller on Rumford Avenue reported that someone had stolen his vehicle. Mansfield Police found the vehicle at the Mobil on Chauncy Street and arrested Fitzpatrick there.

2:33 p.m. Caller reported that their vehicle had been side-swiped while parked at Fresh Catch.

5:00 p.m. Five juveniles were detained after defacing new cement on Pratt Street. Representatives of the Mansfield Department of Public Works removed footprints, hearts and initials from the concrete. No other police action released.

 

Nov. 4

8:37 a.m. Caller reported that a tenant had stolen two barber chairs from a site on North Main Street.

2:14 p.m. Caller reported that two of the tires on his vehicle were slashed during the night while parked on Erick Road.

4:34 p.m. Shannon Fitzpatrick, 38, of 150 Rumford Ave. was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident and operating negligently as to endanger at Cousin’s Pizza.

5:59 p.m. Caller reported that someone had broken into her residence and, among other items, her black and white Pomeranian dog is missing.

 

 

Nov. 5

5:23 a.m. Michael Lebon, 29, of 20 George St. in Attleboro was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

10:07 a.m. Caller reported that someone had broken into her vehicle during the night. Caller reported that the suspect was trying to steal an LED light fixture from the vehicle, but was scared off by the caller.

1:20 p.m. Caller reported that someone had stolen his front license plate from his vehicle while it was parked on Webster Street.

11:43 p.m. Caller reported that his house was egged and toilet papered during the night.
