Mansfield Police Log: Pizza Assault, Florence and a Lesson in Locking

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from Sept. 10 to Sept. 15.

Sept. 10

11:40 a.m. Caller reported his mail box was knocked off the post on North Main Street.

3:00 p.m. Caller reported stolen items from his garage during the night. He stated that a motorcycle helmet was stolen, valued at over $250.

Sept. 11

1:38 p.m. Caller reported that a section of the bike path near Webb. Place had been vandalized with spray paint.

Sept. 12

2:47 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that her car was keyed at the Comcast Center.

Sept. 13

5:36 a.m.  Caller stated he was jogging in the area of South Main Street and a dial-a-ride van came close enough to him to make contact. He reported he was not injured at the time of the call.

12:45 p.m. Caller reported her plates stolen from her residence.

3:31 p.m. Michael Andrukonis, 57, of 72 Caravel Dr. in Hatchville was arrested for his second OUI offense on Route 140.

11:29 p.m. Bernard Marshall, 48, of 38 Walnut St. in Foxborough was arrested operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and going the wrong way down a one way street.

Sept. 14

2:12 p.m. Originally, one caller reported a break in to her residence on Joanna Dr. that occurred during the day. The homeowner later called, saying that he had moved his children’s belongings to “teach them a lesson about leaving the door unlocked.”

3:11 p.m. Caller reported a larceny from her business.

3:31 p.m. Caller reported a break in to her vehicle. A side-window was smashed but nothing was reported missing.

4:49 p.m. The following is a summary of police activity from the Florence and the Machine show at the Comcast Center. One person was taken into protective custody for public intoxication and one was arrested for disorderly conduct. One man was reported trespassing on the grounds and a vehicle was leaking gas in the parking lot.

8:03 p.m. Caller stated that a blonde female and two brown-hair females had assaulted her at the Mansfield house of pizza.

Sept. 15

1:48 p.m. Caller reported a possibly intoxicated male asking for money at the train station got into a fight with another male. One of the males got onto the train and Mansfield Police stopped the train at the next station to pick up the party. The incident was resolved without charges being filed.

4:38 p.m. Matthew William, 32, of 249 Webster St. in Rockland was given a summons arrested for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (pool cue) and documented malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
