Mansfield Police Log: Robbery, A&B and Shoplifting

April 24

4:29 a.m. Pedro Santos, 32, of 71 Chilson Ave. and Jeana Santons, 30, of 71 Chilson Ave. were both arrested for assault and battery.

9:29 a.m. Caller reported a possible attempted break in at his back porch area of his residence on Cottage Street. Caller reported the molding to her back window was partially pried off.

9:49 a.m. Police reported speaking with an owner of a property on Chauncy Street about finding hypodermic needles in the vicinity.

1:23 p.m. Caller from Kohl’s loss prevention reported a 50-60-year-old female has been in the store several times stealing merchandise. Video of the incidents was shown.

April 25

3:23 p.m. Angela Valntino, 22, of 868 North Main St. in Attleboro and Christopher Casto, 24, of 125 Chestnut St. in Lincoln were both arrested in relation to the crime. Casto is charged with armed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Valentino is charged with is charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

10:15 p.m. Stephen Burke, 21, of 20 Sterling St. in Quincy was arrested for two active warrants. Callers alerted police when a disturbance in the hallway of the Red Roof Inn when altercation occurred between Burke and another subject.
