Mansfield Police Log: Saws, Flooding and Hit and Run on a Teacher

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from Sept. 17 to Sept. 19, 2012.

Sept. 18

1:50 p.m. Caller reported felony check fraud on Fulton Place.

1:57 p.m. Officer relayed a call reporting a hit and run at the Qualters Middle School. The victim vehicle, which was parked, belonged to a teacher.

Sept. 19

2:04 a.m. Police were notified of street flooding on North Main Street under the overpass and Chauncy Street, between Highland Street and Perkins Road.

7:15 a.m. Caller reported low-hanging wires on North Main Street.

10:26 a.m. Joanna Celestin, 28, of 35 South St. was arrested for domestic relation assault and battery.

5:31 p.m. Caller reported a wire hanging from the side of her apartment.

6:00 p.m. Caller reported someone attempted to saw through the door to her basement sometime yesterday.
