Log: Sept. 12-18.

Sept. 12

11:22 a.m. Cecilia Hernandez, 38, of 96 Wyndam Ave. in Providence, Ri., was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

1:44 p.m. Reporting party stated that her vehicle had been broken into during the night while parked on Coach Road. Vehicle was unlocked and a GPS was stolen.

4:14 p.m. Caller reported that his vehicle was broken into while parked on Brookside Road.

4:33 p.m. Caller reported items missing from her residence on Noreen Road.

Sept 13

6:48 a.m. MBTA employee reported that the station on Crocker Street showed signs of attempted forced entry. Police found that it appeared the subject tried to gain access through a window with a pry bar.

11:14 a.m. Caller reported that rocks had been thrown through windows at the Dog Grooming store in Samoset Avenue.

12:26 p.m. Rite Aid employee reported a female suspect shoplifting from the store.

2:28 p.m. Ralph Casto, 28, of 166 Pine St. in Attleboro was arrested for violating a restraining order.

4:20 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that her son’s bike was stolen.

6:53 p.m. Caller reported that he had just gotten home and has found several items missing from his residence. Mansfield Police checked the house for fingerprints.

Sept. 14

9:15 p.m. Idrisa Stambuli, 29, of 69 East Main St. in Norton was arrested for larceny of a motor vehicle.

Sept 15

10:51 a.m. Caller reported that his laptop and bag had been stolen from his vehicle on Sept. 9 while parked on Central Street.

11:19 a.m. Caller reported a possible break in on Bird Road. Police found a single pane of glass on the basement door of the residence smashed, but no evidence of actual entry was found.

1:54 p.m. Christopher Baker, 21, of 18 Mansfield Ave. in Norton was arrested for unarmed robbery, assault and battery on a victim over 60 years old and misdemeanor larceny. Police were alerted to the robbery from callers at the Stop and Shop, where the robbery took place. Callers also reported that Baker ran into the woods behind the supermarket, and was pursued by several citizens. Patrolman Hopkins found Baker near Rte. 140, and found that he was covered in mud and had scratches consistent with running through the woods. He was in police custody at 2:09 p.m. and his bail was set at $10,000.

8:03 p.m. Caller reported a break in at his residence on Oakland Street. Caller said that over $1,000 worth of coins were stolen from his residence.

Sept. 16

9:18 a.m. Caller reported that her pocketbook and GPS was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked on Old Stable Drive.

10:54 a.m. Caller reported vandalism to his vehicle while it was parked on Francis Avenue.

4:08 p.m. Caller reported that someone had stolen $230 from a family member’s room on School Street sometime between Sept. 15 and 16.

4:12 p.m. Officer Bain reported that a male party stepped in front of his cruiser. Party laughed once the cruiser swerved out of the way. Bain talked with the party, who said he unintentionally stepped in front of the cruiser, and did not wish to harm himself.

Sept. 17

3:33 p.m. The following is a summery of police activity during the Toby Keith concert at the Comcast Center. 18 people were arrested for underage drinking, 13 people were taken into protective custody for public intoxication and two people were arrested for negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Nicholas Corcione, 21, of 57 Acorn St. in Haverhill was arrested for procuring alcohol for underage parties.

8:47 p.m. Antwan Sawyer, 20, of 526 Francis Ave. was arrested for receiving stolen property valued under $250.

Sept. 18

11:46 a.m. Robert Greene, 46, of 260 Shageark Rd. in Taunton was arrested at the intersection of Route 140 and School Street for failing to identify self, operation of an unregistered motor vehicle and operation of a motor vehicle with a license suspended for a past infraction of operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

8:24 p.m. Caller reported that the main door to the building on 10 Connors Ave. appears to be damaged from a break in.
