Mansfield Police Log: Sidewalk Jumping, More Break Ins and Graffiti

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from March 19 to 22.

March 19

11:11 a.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that a vehicle had struck his vehicle at the Bank of America parking lot on Friday.

11:46 a.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that a vehicle had struck his vehicle at the St. Mary’s Church the previous day.

6:54 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that someone has been using her credit card without her consent.

March 20

1:03 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that his vehicle was broken into on March 10. A GPS was taken from the vehicle.

March 21

8:28 a.m. Caller reported that his three vehicles were broken into and rummaged through sometime during the night while they were parked on South Main Street.

10:42 a.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that his mountain bike was stolen from Fultons Pond.

6:07 p.m. Caller reported that someone had broken into their house on Court Street.

7:49 p.m. Caller reported possible shoplifters at the Kohl’s.

8:09 p.m. Karen Cronin, 52, of 66 Neponset Heights Ave. in Foxborough was arrested for operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of illegal drugs, use of a motor vehicle without authority from owner, negligent driving and possession of a class E illegal substance. Cronin was attempting to park the vehicle on Old Colony Way when police noticed erratic driving. Her vehicle then “jumped” the sidewalk. Cronin then went into the Catman Café, was refused service, and then apprehended by Mansfield Police.

March 22

9:16 a.m. Caller reported a bag of hypodermic needles on the side of the road on Short Street. Police found eight unused needles in a bag.

10:24 a.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated a mountain bike was stolen from his yard on Branch Street.

1:36 p.m. Caller reported an ongoing issue with her neighbor’s boyfriend. She had allegedly been arguing with the male party about parking on the cul de sac over the past few weeks. She went out and found graffiti on her vehicle.

3:23 p.m. Caller reported a break in on a foreclosed home on East Street. Police found the door open, and reported finding copper and trash lying around the home, but nothing appeared to be missing. Homeowner reported that there had been copper theft the previous year, and does not know if this is new damage.
