Mansfield Police Log:Traffic Lights, Shoplifting and Break Ins

The following is from the Mansfield Police log from Aug. 20 and 21.

 Aug. 20

12:49 p.m. Caller reported that the owner of a black Mercedes SUV left the Pros Carwash without paying.

Aug. 21

11:52 a.m. Edward Phillips, 32, of 9 Townsend St. in Fitchburg was arrested for a warrant and operation of a motor vehicle with a revoked license.

2:06 p.m. Caller reported that traffic lights at the intersection of Franklin Street and East Street were not functioning. The cycle was not functioning properly and then reset.

6:54 p.m. Pamela Jack, 66, of 79 Walnut St. was given a summons arrest for shoplifting by asportation at Kohl’s.

6:59 p.m. Caller reported coming home and found his neighbor’s door wide open with no one home.

7:36 p.m. Caller reported a larceny from his business on Chauncy Street.

7:43 p.m. Caller reported a forced-entry break in at his residence on Pratt Street.

Maybe the families at this address should worry more about what's going on in their own house instead of complaining about how bad Mansfield is. Aug. 21 6:54 p.m. Pamela Jack, 66, of 79 Walnut St. was given a summons arrest for shoplifting by asportation at Kohl’s.

Maybe it's a family business? June 8 7:25 p.m. John Veinotte, 46, of 79 Walnut St. was arrested for shoplifting by asportation.
