Mansfield Police Log: Trespassing, Break Ins and a Hit and Run

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from Oct. 15 to the morning of Oct. 16.

Oct. 15

9:36 a.m. Caller reported the mailbox at his business was damaged during the night and money was stolen from it.

2:04 p.m. Caller reported his vehicle was struck in the Stop and Shop parking lot.

4:54 p.m. Caller reported his vehicle was broken into while parked on Tremont Street.

5:17 p.m. Caller reported for the past few nights someone has vandalized her political signs in her front yard on East Street, and this time someone stole them.

9:07 p.m. Edward Connell, 60, of 493 Elm St. was issued a summons arrest for witness intimidation, trespassing and disorderly conduct on Campbell Street.  Connell had been reported earlier as trespassing on property near the Camden Woods. He allegedly had an argument with the property owner and then came back.

Oct. 16

6:18 a.m. Caller on Joanna Drive reported that his vehicle was broken into during the night and a GPS unit was taken.
