Mansfield's Comcast Calms Down After Mayhem, 311

Mayhem Festival and 311 slow down the pace at the Comcast Center.

The Mayhem Festival at the Comcast Center on Friday didn’t seem, in comparison to the Identity and Influence festivals, to hold true to its name.  A total of 18 people were arrested, only two of which for criminal concerns. The 311 concert on Saturday had a total of 75 arrests, of which 36 were for underage drinking and 33 of which were put into protective custody for public intoxication. Only one arrest was made for illegal drug possession. One person was arrested for trespassing and four people were arrested for disorderly conduct.

Comparatively, the Identity Festival saw a host of medical issues, including the deaths of two patrons, due to drugs and alcohol and saw 45 total arrests. The Under the Influence of Music tour on the previous Wednesday saw a total of 87 arrests.

The Mayhem festival saw five people were arrested for underage drinking and nine people were taken into protective custody for public intoxication. One person was arrested for disorderly conduct.
