Norton Police Charge Mansfield Man for Breaking and Entering

Adam Carine, 24, of Mansfield, was charged with attempting to commit a crime (breaking and entering in the daytime) and more than $250 in malicious damage to property.

Norton Police charged a third person this week for an attempted breaking and entering.

At approximately 4:30 p.m. Monday, the department arrested Adam Carine, 24, of 45 Fairfield Park, Mansfield, for an attempted house break at 19 Newcomb St., Norton. Norton detectives were in the area due to the recent house breaks when they observed Carine attempting to enter the residence through a window. Carine was placed under arrest by Detectives and was transported to the Norton Police station.  

Carine was also arrested in  after a similar incident and charged with breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony, larceny over $250, stolen property over $250 and two counts of malicious destruction of property less than $250. 

He is being held in Norton on $25,000 cash bail and will appear in the Attleboro District Court today. Carine is charged with attempting to commit a crime (breaking and entering in the daytime) and more than $250 in malicious damage to property.

Also this week Stephen Mudge and his girlfriend, Laurabeth Degirolamo, 31, both of Broadway Street, Taunton, were charged with breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony, and larceny of more than $250.  Additionally, Mudge was charged with malicious destruction of property. Degirolamo assisted Mudge in the  in Norton.
