Pet Killed in Otis Street Fire

A family of four was displaced.

A fire heavily damaged an Otis Street home Sunday.

One person was home when the fire broke out at about 2 p.m. at 210 Otis St., according to the Sun Chronicle.

The person escaped. Firefighters rescued two cats from the home. One survived, but one wasn't breathing. Firefighters performed CPR, but the cat died, the Chronicle reported.

A family of four lived in the home; the Red Cross was assisting them.
