Police Log: Arrests For Shoplifting and Property Damage

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Monday, September 9

1:27 a.m. Disturbance/General. Comcast Center, 885 South Main Street. Reporting Party reports fireworks going off in the Comcast Center parking lot. The night crew at the Comcast Center said the parties lighting off fireworks have left. 

11:05 a.m. Harassment/Threats. West Street. Reporting Party called to report a man "Steve" threatened to punch her in the face. 

9:06 p.m. Larceny (Misdemeanor). Chilson Avenue. Reporting Party reports while his vehicle was parked at a friend's house on church street, his wallet was taken from his vehicle. Officer reports $130 was in the wallet with numerous debit cards and spare key to his vehicle. 

Tuesday, September 10

12:42 a.m. Disturbance/General. Red Roof Inn, 60 Forbes Blvd. Officer out with a noise complaint at the request of management. Parties informed that if any further complaints came in, they would be removed for the evening. 

6:57 a.m. Assault and Battery (felony). Henry Street. Party state he was assaulted with a baseball bat on High Street and ran home to call 911. John J. Keefe, 52, of High Street was arrested for Assault and Battery with a dangerous weapon, vandalizing property, threatening to commit a crime (murder), and witness intimidation.

10:16 a.m. Malicious Damage, Arrest Report. Comcast Center, 885 South Main Street. Kelli Stables, 44, of Carlisle was arrested for Assault and Battery and Malicious Destruction of Property, over $250 in damage. 

5:40 p.m. Shoplifting. Best Buy, 280 School Street. Reporting Party into the station to report 8 Garmin GPSs stolen Saturday, Sept. 7. Theft was not discovered until after the suspects left the Best Buy, therefore they were not identified. 

Wednesday, September 11

10:09 p.m. Arrest Report. Mahmoud Ahmad, 52, of Pawtucket, R.I. was arrested for shoplifting by recording false value (coupon fraud.)
