Police Log: Holiday Inn Guests Become Rowdy at Hotel Pool

The following information was provided by the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Sunday, Jan. 5

At 1:05 a.m., police responded to the Holiday Inn on Hampshire Street after receiving a report from the front desk clerk that a gathering of guests would not leave the pool area and that they were being verbally abusive to security.

At 11:45 a.m., police spoke with the owner of New England Collision Equipment regarding the snow removal at the property, and that they were no longer to push large amounts of snow out into the street.

At 6:52 p.m., police received a report from a resident who lent a vehicle to a female party a week prior and had not heard from her since. The vehicle was reported as stolen.

At 8:46 p.m., Police placed two 25-year-old Mansfield men into protective custody after responding to Flynn's Irish Pub on North Main Street in Mansfield.

Friday, Jan. 3

At 2:02 p.m., police arrested a 38-year-old Seekonk man for driving with a revoked license and without insurance on School Street. 

At 6:33 p.m., police arrested a 21-year-old Norton man for assault and battery while responding to Flynn's Irish Pub on North Main Street in Mansfield.

Thursday, Jan. 2

At 5:15 p.m., police arrested a 33 Raynham woman on a default warrant and a straight warrant while in the area of Bonney Lane.

Wednesday, Jan. 1

At 3:10 a.m., police placed a 21-year-old Taunton man into protective custody.

At 6 p.m., police arrested a 38-year-old Woburn man while at the Red Roof Inn, for larceny under $250.
