Police Log: Larceny, Drug Law Violations, and More

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Friday, October 18

2:58 a.m. 
Disturbance/General. Party called to say that possibly two parties broke into a Jeep and a pickup truck at their home. Party giving pursuit to possible parties.

7:16 a.m. 
Breaking and Entering (Motor Vehicle). Granada Circle. Reporting Party reports her daughter's car was broken into sometime overnight. Car is no longer at this location, party had to drive to school. 

Saturday, October 19

2:43 p.m. 
Drug Law Violations. Rite Aid Pharmacy, Chauncy Street. Reporting Party called to report male attempted to pass a fake prescription before leaving in the passenger seat of a vehicle. 40-year-old Timothy J. Carney of Providence, was arrested for uttering a false prescription. 

3:32 p.m. Larceny (Misdemeanor). Cobb Street Lodge, Cobb Street. Patient at the lodge reports nine oxycodone pills.
