Police Log: Loose Fox Injured, Put Down By Police

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Sunday, Nov. 3

At 11:30 a.m., police received multiple calls for a fox in the median and along the side of the roadway on Route 140 at Norfolk Street. A search for the fox turned up negative. 

At 1:58 p.m., police received a report of an injured fox in the area of staples. The fox was put down. 

At 4:10 p.m., police received a call about a past breaking and entering to a home on Pratt Street, which occurred either Thursday night or Friday during the day. Police report a forced entry, possible with a flat head screwdriver. Nothing was missing from the apartment. 


Monday, Nov. 4

At 9:45 a.m., an employee from Sunoco reported 11 $10 lottery tickets were stolen from the store. 

At 5:04 p.m., a caller reported identity theft of his daughter's debit card.
