Police Log: Man Arrested for 13 Counts of Credit Card Fraud

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Wednesday, October 16

11:49 a.m. Larceny (Felony). Southpark Lane. Officer speaking to a representative from Presantato Landscaping who reports approximately 30 minutes ago on Elm Street, a white male in his early 20s with short brown hair and a thin build stole an ECHO backpack blower from their trailer. Suspect fled in a newer model red two-door coupe, possibly a Scion, towards Attleboro. Attleboro Police Department advised. 

4:10 p.m. Identity Theft. West Street. Caller reports credit card fraud an possibly identity theft. Christopher Hemphill, 40, of Randolph arrested for 13 counts of Credit Card Fraud over $250. 

Thursday, October 17

6:44 p.m. 
Malicious Damage. Rumford Avenue. Reporting Party into station reports a chip in the paint, believed to be malicious damage. Reporting Party requests documentation only.
