Police Log: Man Arrested for Larceny, Power Tools Stolen From Shed

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Wedneday, Jan. 1

At 11:40 a.m., a man reported that the window in his truck was smashed sometime overnight on Union Street. 

At 11:58 a.m., police received a report of a stray dog on Lawndale Ave., and was brought to the station. 

At 4:19 p.m., police received a report that a man had his wallet stolen from the Red Roof Inn. Police arrested 38-year-old David J. Smith for larceny under $250.

Thursday, Jan. 2

At 7:46 a.m., police received a report that a tool shed for the condos on North Main Street was broken into and a large amount of power tools were taken.

All the theft doesn't surprise me anymore. The Obama presidency is all about stealing from the rich & middle class, so these thieves are just following their leader.
