Police Log: Man Attacked By Turkeys, Stolen Wallet, and More

The following information was provided by the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Monday, Jan. 13

At 4:39 p.m., a man called to report being attacked by a flock of wild turkeys on school street in the area of the Spring Brook Cemetery. He was able to fight off the birds and escape down West Street uninjured. He requested that police break up the group to prevent future attacks. 

Tuesday, Jan. 14

At 1:25 a.m., a woman reported that items were stolen from stolen from her pocketbook in the break room at Buffalo Wild Wings. An officer gathered a list of employees that worked that night. 

At 4:51 p.m., a person came into the station to report a wallet stolen from Stop & Shop while shopping. Missing items include $125 in cash, an American Airlines Master Card, and a Bank of America credit/debit card, which have been canceled.
