Police Log: Mansfield Man Charged with Credit Card Fraud

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Wednesday, Oct. 23

At 8:40 a.m., police arrested Michael John Farrington, 20, 1004 East St., Mansfield, and charged him with credit card fraud under $250 and forgery of a document.

At 12:40 p.m., an employee at a Chauncy Street business called police about a person going door-to-door trying to sell cleaner.

At 2:49 p.m., police responded to Camden Woods about a possible stolen car. Police found the car appeared to have been stolen and its license plates and VIN number were removed. Police had the vehicle towed.

At 10:41 p.m., police summonsed a Medfield man for speeding and operating a motor vehicle after his license was suspended. Police pulled over the man on Chauncy Street.

Thursday, Oct. 24

At 7:18 a.m., police received a call after someone found a hypodermic needle at a gas pump on Chauncy Street.

At 10:25 a.m., police arrested a 17-year-old on a warrant.

At 10:52 a.m., a resident reported a neighbor was slowly driving by her home. There was a previous issue involving tree removal. Police spoke to the two people and advised them about no trespass orders.

At 2:32 p.m., police responded to River Street about a possible car break-in. A woman said she saw a man trying to enter a car and then sit in the vehicle. He left the area before police arrived. It’s not known whether anything was taken.

At 5:44 p.m., a York Road resident reported someone entered unlocked vehicles overnight and stole $5 in coins.
