Police Log: Plainville Man Charged with Drunk Driving

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Friday, Dec. 20

At 8:50 a.m., police responded to Nicole Road after three vehicles were entered overnight. Nothing appeared to be missing from the vehicles.

At 9:22 a.m., police responded to Chauncy Street after two offices were burglarized. The alleged burglar also tried to enter a dentist’s office.

At 9:51 a.m., an employee at a School Street store claimed a man was attempting to steal a phone. He reportedly put the phone in his pocket and entered the bathroom. However, an employee spoke to the alleged shoplifter who proved he owned the phone.

At 11:26 a.m., a South Main Street resident reported a burglary. Items were stolen from a countertop.

At 12:25 p.m., police arrested Rasheem A. Robinson, 27, 3 Francis Ave., Apt. 16, Mansfield, and charged him on a warrant.

At 12:57 p.m., police summonsed a Rhode Island man for operating a motor vehicle without a license after a minor motor vehicle accident on Chauncy Street.

 

Saturday, Dec. 21

At 12:02 p.m., police responded to Chauncy Street after two vehicles were damaged overnight.

At 3:20 p.m., police arrested John J. Jodoin, 38, 1 Old Colony, Apt. G3, Mansfield, and charged him with on a warrant for violating an abuse prevention order.

At 7:46 p.m., police arrested Richard Madden Jr., 43, 11 Landau Road, Plainville, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor and negligently operating a motor vehicle. Police made the arrest on Plymouth Street.
