Police Log: Stoughton Man Arrested for Alleged Break-ins Around East Mansfield

The following information was provided by the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

March 19

9:13 a.m. - While on patrol around Old North Trail and Mayflower Dr., officer Thomas Conner noticed a male on Donegal Way. Observing the male, Conner called for backup to also check on him.

Later, officer Richer Hopkins reported one witness who observed the male walking around the neighborhood in a suspicious manner. The male was identified as Ryan Wilson, 24, of 35 Kinney Ct., Stoughton. Wilson was wanted on an outstanding warrant for allegedly breaking in to houses in the area and was soon found and arrested.

Wilson was charged with three counts of breaking and entering a building in the daytime for a felony, three counts of malicious destruction of property over $50, two counts of larceny over $250, and one count of possession of a burglarious instrument.

March 20

3:52 p.m. - After receiving a report of shoplifting at Dub’s Liquors, Mansfield police were able to find and arrest Myrna Hunt, 42, of 10 Blacom Dr., Foxborough on South Main St. Hunt was charged with two counts of shoplifting by asportation.
