Police Log: Trash Cans Dumped on Fulton Pond, Fight at Stop & Shop

The following information was provided by the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Saturday, Jan. 11

At 9:20 a.m., police received a call about a loose yellow dog running in the roadway on Plymouth Street. The dog was reunited with the owner. 

At 11:01 a.m., a man walked into the lobby to report fraudulent charges on his debit card. 

At 12:03 p.m., police received a report of ongoing issues with youths drinking on and around Fulton Pond last night. There were trash cans turned over with trash spread all over the ice and surrounding area and there were also two cases of empty beer cans. 

At 12:09 p.m., a woman called to report that her vehicle on Columbine Road was broken into sometime between last night and 12 p.m. and that her pocket book and credit card were stolen. 

At 1:27 p.m., police received multiple 911 reports of a fight in the Stop & Shop parking lot and that one man had a knife. 22-year-old Brandon Tyler Campbell of Foxboro was arrested for disorderly conduct and assault with a dangerous weapon.
