Police Log: Wedding Ring Stolen, Breaking and Entering, and More

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Monday, Dec. 2

At 12:08 p.m., a resident reported malicious damage to the ice rink in her back yard. 

At 1:58 p.m., a resident from Fisher Lane reported finding the door to her house open when she got home. She said she saw a man an woman she didn't recognize carrying a shopping bag leaving Fisher Lane in an unknown direction. 

At 6:30 p.m., a woman reported receiving harassing phone calls. Police advised her that this was an ongoing scam and to disregard any further phone calls. 

Thursday, Dec. 5

At 2:45 p.m., a guest at the Red Roof Inn reported that left the hotel and when she came back, the room was cleaned and her wedding ring, worth $9,000, was gone.
