Police Log: Woman Arrested for Second OUI Offense

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Friday, Nov. 1


At 9 a.m., Diane M. Lahey of Rumford Avenue, was arrested on two outstanding warrants. 

At 9:39 a.m., Deborah A. Harris of East Street was arrested for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor, second offense, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. 

At 10:59 p.m., police received reports of a loud music/tv on Bonney Lane. People were out on the patio and advised of the complaint. 


Saturday, Nov. 2


At 4:18 a.m., police received a report of large group outside causing a disturbance on Brook Street. People at the party were advised to quiet down and move inside. 

At 11:43 a.m., police received a report of a fox on the sideway at the Route 106 underpass. 

At 12:31 p.m., a caller reported that a fox in her driveway was preventing her from leaving the house, but it was gone before police got their. The fox was then reported to be at Rite Aid, but police were unable to locate it. 

At 1:56 p.m., police received multiple calls about a fox in the roadway of Route 140 and Chauncy Street. The Animal Control Officer fired one round at the fox but missed. It then ran into the woods. 

At 9:30 p.m., A caller reported that her residence on Fuller Place, which is for sale and having an open house tomorrow, was broken into and copper was stolen. Police said there was forced entry through the side porch and that while a small amount of copper was taken, a large portion was left behind, possibly indicating the break-in was interrupted. The water main to the home was damaged and the water department was called to try to turn the main off.
