Teens Who Allegedly Set Fire to Mansfield Soccer Bubble Will Be Charged

Three Norton Teenagers will be charged for allegedly starting a fire in the lobby of the abandoned Mansfield Soccer Bubble at about 5:15 p.m. on Friday, August 2, according to the Sun Chronicle.

Police said that the teens broke into the building through a side window. One teenager lit a piece of paper on fire and the flame spread to loose debris. No one was injured.

Detective Sgt. Larry Crosman told the Chronicle that he believed the fire was accidental. The teens were “just messing around. They must not have realized how dangerous the situation could get. They will be summonsed to Attleboro Juvenile Court.
