Third Victim in Horrific Mansfield Train Crash Still Unidentified

Three people were killed Sunday when an Amtrak train collided with their sport utility vehicle.

One of the three people who were killed Sunday in a horrific train crash in Mansfield has yet to be identified.

The trio were killed when a high-speed Amtrak train struck their sport utility vehicle. Authorities said the train was traveling 125 mph when it struck the vehicle, which was traveling in the same direction as the train in a wooded area.

On Wednesday, authorities identified two of the victims as Zachary Keene, 26, of Raynham, and David Curry, 28, of Foxborough. The third occupant was a woman. Her injuries were so devastating that authorities said they needed to conduct forensic testing to identify her.

The Boston Herald reported the trio may have been joyriding at the time of the crash.

The train driver was treated for a minor head injury. About 200 people were aboard the train; none were hurt.
