Earlier today, Chief Arthur ONeill told Mansfield Patch that the shooting was an “isolated incident” and the public is not at risk. O’Neill said the shootings are neither gang nor drug related.

O’Neill said several people were at the apartment at the time of the shootings, but earlier reports of a baby in the apartment were incorrect.

“The baby was with the grandparents in Chicopee”, said O’Neill.

Charles will be arraigned in Attleboro District Court on Wednesday. Assistant District Attorney Aaron Strojny will detail the case during the arraignment.
