BYOB Regulations Coming to Mansfield?

The Board of Selectmen discussed a new BYOB regulation that would allow patrons to bring their own alcohol to restaurants in Mansfield at Wednesday night's meeting, according to the Sun Chronicle

The selectmen had some concerns over the regulation like how it would be regulated, considering it's not a license that could be taken away, and what the term "premises" entailed, since alcohol would not be allowed off the premises.

There was also a question over employees not being allowed to handle the patrons' alcohol, although they would have to handle it to place leftover alcohol into a one-time temper-proof bag. The selectmen decided to another draft before bringing the regulations to a public hearing.
