Clemmy Drops Out of Selectmen Race, All Town Races Now Unopposed

Karl Clemmy has decided to not run for a seat on the Mansfield Board of Selectmen in May's town election.

Bearing a strong write-in candidate at the last minute, every race in next month's town election will be unopposed.

According to Town Clerk Marianne Staples, selectmen candidate Karl Clemmy has decided to not run for selectmen, taking away the only contested race on the ballot. The deadline for candidates to drop out of a race was April 11.

With Clemmy now out of the race, Selectmen Chairman Olivier Kozlowski and Doug Annino will likely win reelection as the only two candidates for the two selectmen seats on the ballot.
