Mansfield Selectmen Offer Support to Michaela Smith's Family

At their meeting Wednesday night, the Mansfield Board of Selectmen held a moment of silence for Michaela Smith.

Michaela Smith was remembered at the Mansfield Board of Selectmen’s meeting Tuesday with a moment of silence. Smith, a 16-year-old Mansfield High student, was killed in a car crash Saturday in Foxborough.

Selectmen chairman Jess Aptowitz said he spent time with the Smith family this week and offered the town’s support.

“We are here for you, a month from now, a year now, how long it takes,” he said.
