Mansfield Water Testing for Leaks
Mansfield will be testing for leaks in residential properties.
During the next two week period Water Division crews will be testing residential water services over 200 feet in length only in order to complete the final phase of the 2012 Annual Leak Detection Program.
Home owners of these properties (over 200 feet water services) received individual hand notices from the Water Division with regarding upcoming work.
This work will be performed from Dec. 5 to Dec. 7 and from Dec. 10 to Dec. 14 from 12 a.m. - 6 a.m. (weather permitting).
Work will only take place nearer to the street and only up to where the water shutoff is located at each property line (typically this is located 10-15 feet from the side of the road).
Crews should be at each property no longer than 1/2 hour and water service will not be interrupted as a result of this activity.
