Question of the Day: Internet Piracy Bill Protest [Poll]

A Web-wide protest on Wednesday is a response to the legislative battle over two Internet piracy bills.

A Web-wide protest on Wednesday includes a 24-hour shutdown of the English-language Wikipedia, as well as a myriad of other sites  including tech magazine Wired.com, is a response to the legislative battle over two Internet piracy bills. The bills, the Stop Online Piracy Act in the House and the Protect IP Act in the Senate, are backed by major media companies and are intended to put a stop to the illegal downloading and streaming of TV shows and movies online. But the tech industry fears that the bills will give media companies too much power to shut down sites that they say are abusing copyrights.

Do you think that bills like this are reasonable legislation, or will this lead to a dangerous shift of power?
