Mansfield Recall Petition Withdrawn
A recall petition on two Mansfield selectmen has been withdrawn.
According to the Mansfield Town Clerk's Office, the petition to hold a recall election on two Mansfield selectmen has been withdrawn.
The petition, taken out last week, was called because of financial concerns and issues of transparency, according to the petitioner, Tina Silverio. The recall election was targeted at selectmen Kevin Moran and Jess Aptowitz.
Issues such as the Mansfield Financial Advisory Committee's mass resignations and the town budget were some of the reasons for the petition.
