U.S. Senate Candidate Visiting Sharon

Newton Mayor Setti Warren comes here Aug. 14.

Sharon will be on the U.S. Senate campaign trail this summer.

Newton Mayor Setti Warren, a Democrat, will meet and greet voters at 1 p.m. Aug. 14 at 107 Brook Road, Sharon, the home of the Agulnek family.

Warren is challenging incumbent Republican of Wrentham for re-election in 2012.

"Mayor Warren was interested in meeting with Sharon Democrats, Republicans and Independents to make the pitch for why he is the right candidate for the job," Aaron Agulnek told friends and neighbors in a recent e-mail, which he sent to Sharon Patch on Friday.

"This is not a fundraiser - but merely an opportunity to hear directly from the mayor."
