Hockomock Area YMCA Offers No School Fun Days for December Vacation in Mansfield

The following was submitted by the Hockomock YMCA.

Providing youth with opportunities to continue to learn and engage in meaningful activities during out of school time can boost their academic success.

To help motivate and inspire kids to learn, the Hockomock Area YMCA offers a before and afterschool program to school-aged children (grades K-8) in the communities of Bellingham, Foxboro, Franklin, Mansfield, North Attleboro, and Wrentham. The Y’s program combines academics with play and offers a caring and safe environment for youth who would otherwise be left unsupervised.

“At the Hockomock Y, we believe all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve,” said Melissa Emidy, Senior Director of School Age Child Care. “In our before and afterschool programs, youth are cultivating values, skills, and relationships and have an extra support system that encourages them to achieve success.”
