Jordan/Jackson Fifth Graders Celebrate End of Elementary School

Family and friends gather for special morning with teachers and administration.

It was not called a graduation, but it sure felt that way. On this beautiful, sunny summer day, teachers escorted 370 fifth graders from the school to the Mansfield High School Auditorium where the students were honored for completing their five years in grade school. Principals Teresa Murphy and Kathleen Podesky moderated the program and members of the JJ choir led family and friends in the pledge. In two separate sessions, teachers shared heartfelt warmth and words of encouragement to their students before calling them up individually to accept a Certificate of Achievement. The first session actually ended in song!

Congratulations Class of 2018!
