Lockdown Drill to be Held at Mansfield High School on April 2

Mansfield High School will perform a lockdown drill on April 2.

On April 2, Mansfield High School in conjunction with the Mansfield Police and Fire Departments will hold a lockdown drill.

The drill is designed to make sure that students and staff know what to do in the event that the school would have to go into lockdown.

"We feel it is critically important that we conduct these drills to proactively ensure that our school community remains a safe and secure environment," Mansfield High School principal Michael Connolly said.

The drill should last about 15 minutes.
