Mansfield Boys Soccer Loses to Foxborough 3-2

Despite getting an early lead, Mansfield could not keep the momentum and lost 3-2

The game started well enough for Mansfield, with two goals in the first half and a good showing of defense. The Hornets did not give the Warriors many chances to strike in the first half, but it was not the case in the second half.

"We fought back in the second half," said Foxborough head coach Pat Nash. "First half, I think we didn't play very well. They took it to us, played big and you've got to give them credit there."

Danny Sarkis, the Mansfield team captain, scored both of the team's goals in the first half. But near the beginning of the second half, Foxborough began to strike back.
