Mansfield Education Foundation's Secret Shop Back for 2012

Mansfield Education Foundation will give proceeds to school programs.

The following is from the Mansfield Education Foundation.

The Mansfield Education Foundation is pleased to announce The Secret Shop will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Jordan Jackson Elementary School.

This wonderful annual event provides children, in grades Kindergarten through Fifth, an opportunity to purchase reasonably priced ($1-$5) holiday gifts for family and friends in a safe environment. Volunteer “Elves” (middle school students) assist children while they select gifts for their family and friends for the holidays.

This event benefits all school-aged children in Mansfield. All proceeds from The Secret Shop will be returned to the schools through grants made to educators. All donors will be acknowledged at the event, as well as through submissions to the local newspapers.

In order to make this year's Secret Shop a success, volunteers are needed before the event (shopping and organization), during the event (elves and concession managers), and for cleanup after the event.
